Platform Roadmap

This section holds forward-looking design documents for features in active design but not yet shipped. The content here describes intent — schemas, APIs, workflows — and is subject to change as designs evolve.

If a doc lives here, you should assume the feature is not available in any deployed version yet. Once a roadmap item ships, its documentation moves to the corresponding top-level section (e.g. Pipelines, UI Testing) and the roadmap page either redirects or is retired.

Current roadmap items​

  • Deployment Manifest (Phase 1 design) — manifest-versioned multi-application deployment with dependency-ordered execution and environment targeting. Backend design complete; implementation pending review.

Reading the roadmap​

Each roadmap doc states:

  1. Status at the top — Design / Awaiting Review, In Implementation, Beta, etc.
  2. Scope of the phase — exactly what's in this phase vs. deferred to later phases.
  3. Open questions — design decisions that need user input before code starts.
  4. What it does NOT cover — explicit out-of-scope to avoid scope creep.
